Christmas Market Tour from Colmar

3.Christmas Market Tour from Colmar

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 64 reviews · 9 hours (approx.) · from $162

Spend nine hours touring Eguisheim, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg, and Ribeauville from Colmar. Your English-speaking driver-guide handles the crowded roads and parking, while you explore Christmas markets, visit a wine cellar, and taste Alsatian wine.

“Unfortunately, this tour was not worth the time and definitely not worth the $150 per person price tag. Very unorganized, poor time management and communication, and missed itinerary stops plagued this experience. Our guide was nearly an hour late for our pickup due to traffic. I understand circumstances happen, but he did not even contact us to say he would be late until 15 min. after the scheduled start time. When he arrived, there were no introductions, we were just hurried straight to the vans. Yep, vans, not van. “As advertised, we drove to three markets starting in Freiburg, Basel and Egesheim. The group was split into two vans, so while Didier was our main contact, we had Julia and Gael with us. While they didn't speak fluent English, one would appreciate how they hard they tried to communicate and share bits and pieces of information about the places we passed through. Once at the markets, Didier took the lead in explaining and giving a bit of background about each of the markets we visited. Overall, it was a good excursion.
